IDima (2019)

IDima passport is a fictional verification document meant to offer multiple levels of verification with varying levels of technological difficulty to achieve. the passport is made of a transparent piece of acrylic engraved with personal information and a fingerprint made with the individual’s blood. This fingerprint can be used on its own as a verification aswel as being able to be sampled for blood type and DNA tests. Additionaly when looking through a microscope the patterns in which the blood cells settle can be used to verify if the print has been replaced since the moment it was first created.

To make recording images from a microscope more easily an externa attachment for phone with cameras was created. The attachment uses 3 axis to allow different types of phones to make photos and video recordings through the eyepiece. The assembly can be fabricated with a laser cutter and basic woodworking tools.
